Bury VCFA Volunteer towards Employment Project

ury Voluntary Community & Faith Alliance (VCFA) are providing an Online ‘Volunteer towards Em-ployment Project’ (VtEP) to gain knowledge and skills on how volunteering can enhance your employability!
The project aims to give you the confidence and skills to find the right volunteer role to support your employability.
The project includes 6 hours of support by delivering 4 online workshops on: Volunteering Induction, the Bury Volunteer Bank, basic guide to Microsoft applications and Volunteer CV Support. The project is delivered through Microsoft Teams.
You will also receive a guide on how to complete online volun-teering short courses along with one to one sessions on find-ing the right volunteer role for you.

These courses are free to anyone unemployed/economically inactive, 18+ and living in the Borough of Bury. We require evidence in the form of a photo image, scanned document or e-mail of:
- Confirmation of legal right to live in UK (Passport or birth cert) and confirmation of DWP/Jobcentre Plus benefits decision notification — new claims award / decision or change of circumstances decision letter or a 3rd party confirmation letter such as social services.

These online courses are flexible and will be held anytime between 10am – 4pm on Monday – Friday.
