The Scheme
Moorfield is on Bolton Road Estate, a large family estate located off both Bolton Road and Coronation Road. The estate is on bus routes, convenient for Radcliffe, Bury, Bolton and Manchester. The Metrolink Station is located on Spring Lane close to the centre of Radcliffe. In addition there are general stores, a chemist and a hairdresser. A Doctors Surgery and Dentist are also close to the estate.
The Flats
The scheme comprises of 35 one bedroom flats.
All flats benefit from;
- Double glazing, central heating, smoke alarms and a TV aerial point. They all have a fitted kitchen with a small electric cooker provided.
- They are decorated throughout with your own choice of carpets and vinyl flooring where appropriate. The flats are light and airy with their own back door access onto the communal gardens.
- The flats have a secure door entry system for your peace of mind and are all fitted with Carelink Alarms in every room so there is help in any emergency.
- Some flats have a step up shower and others are fitted with a bath. In some cases, following an assessment with an Occupational Therapist, we can offer the best solution for your needs.
Communal Area
The modern communal areas have been newly decorated with complimentary carpets, curtains and seating and the lounges and communal kitchen can be used by all the residents.
Various activities are held in the communal lounge including coffee mornings, bingo, Saturday “supper club” and days out. The lounges can also be used for individual or group celebrations such as parties. Residents have the choice of getting as involved as they wish to in these activities.
Communal Grounds are maintained by the council leaving you to enjoy the garden without worrying about weeding and mowing the lawns. The grounds can also be a setting for getting together and enjoying the sunshine.
There are on site laundry facilities for use by all occupiers within the scheme, a lift for access to all floors and a guest room which can be used by visiting relatives.
